Supporting Capital Investment

Supporting Capital Investment (Example):  The businesses launched by Ventures for Hope partner nonprofits do not have access to capital markets.  For example, Nomi Network, a nonprofit dedicated to ending slavery for women and girls through economic empowerment, works with ethical sewing centers that provide survivors and women at risk of trafficking with much needed job training and job opportunities.  Nomi was working to start a new sewing center in Bihar, but lacked the funds to do so.  VH came alongside Nomi and through its network was able to raise $50,000 in capital support to build the new sewing center.

Ventures for Hope was launched as an “umbrella” organization to help resource nonprofits creating job opportunities in economically disadvantaged communities.
